N Portland

This hip area of Portland has seen tremendous development over the past decade. While it still has a strong industrial presence at its border along the waterfront, recent residential and commercial growth has created many popular neighborhoods.  Investment in transportation infrastructure, such as the max light rail that runs along N. Interstate, has made this area a great location for commuters. 

Streets like Mississippi, Williams, and Lombard are regarded as some of the city’s top destinations for boutique shopping and fine dining. Rather than chain restaurants and stores, you’ll find small, locally owned shops and eateries that are sure to offer unique experiences. At its northern border, residents and visitors can visit Cathedral Park which offers a stunning view of one of Portland’s most recognizable bridges, the St. Johns Bridge.
