Blake Ellis
A little about me – I’m a fourth generation native Oregonian who was raised out in the country, but dreamed of city life. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a love of real estate, architecture, and design. I remember begging for books of floorplans and extra sets of blueprints from my father as a little kid and spending hours studying them in great detail, not knowing that one day, I’d make that my career!
After graduating from LaSalle College Preparatory School, I bounced between the east and west coasts, and graduated with honors with a degree in English Literature from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA.
I started in the real estate business right out of college, working as an assistant to a broker who specialized in land development, project sales, and multifamily investments. It was a baptism by fire, but an education for which I am truly thankful.
After deciding to work as an independent Broker, I jumped into the new construction project sales world, and, as part of a team, sold a Pearl District development for a local developer. While learning the in’s and out’s of the downtown market, I maintained my referral business, and sold properties all over the metro area and developed a broad knowledge base that became the foundation of my business.
Now, I have 17 years of real estate sales experience, and have been able to learn, grow, and excel. Today, I am thankful to consistently be among the top producing real estate brokers in my company and in the Portland market as a whole.
My practice of real estate is straightforward, client focused, and transparent. I believe in high quality marketing; honest, effective negotiations; and generating tangible results for the clients that I represent.
